This Refund Policy applies to paid plans for Depth Studio AI, operated by Gamze Kamile Akgül (IČO 22435735). Payments and subscription billing are processed through third-party payment service providers. The applicable payment provider and the payment terms for your order are presented to you during checkout. A refund of money is returned through the payment provider used for the original payment, and your statutory rights as a consumer apply in addition to this policy.
1. Who processes a refund
Payments for paid plans are taken through a third-party payment service provider. That provider issues the receipt and the invoice for your order, and is identified during checkout.
A refund of money is therefore returned through that provider, back to the payment method used, subject to the payment terms presented to you at checkout.
We cannot reverse a card payment outside the payment provider's systems. Where we agree that a refund is due, we ask the provider to process it.
You can request a refund or ask about a charge by writing to us at [email protected], or through the support link on your receipt — we will help either way.
Where your order is sold through Stripe's Link service as merchant of record ("Sold through Link" on the checkout page and the receipt), Link is the seller of that purchase and its purchase terms apply to it. You can then also request a refund or cancel the subscription through Link support (support.link.com).
2. Statutory rights come first
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have by law. Where you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, a right of withdrawal of 14 days may apply to a distance contract for digital services, to the extent applicable to your purchase. Consumers elsewhere may have comparable statutory rights under their own national law.
Where a statutory withdrawal or refund right applies to your purchase, it is honoured. This policy is not a waiver of it.
Using the Platform during the withdrawal period does not by itself cancel your right of withdrawal. The law allows that right to be lost only in the cases and under the conditions it sets out — for example after the service has been fully performed, where performance began with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that the right would be lost.
If you withdraw after you expressly asked for the service to start during the withdrawal period, the law allows a proportionate amount for what was provided until you withdrew to be deducted from the refund. Without such a request, the payment is refunded in full.
How to withdraw: send a clear statement within 14 days of the purchase — for example "I withdraw from my contract for the [plan] purchased on [date]" — to [email protected], or contact Link support. You do not need to give a reason. We confirm receipt by email, and the refund is made within 14 days of receiving your statement, to the original payment method.
For subscriptions, a statutory withdrawal right normally relates to the payment that starts the contract rather than to each automatic renewal.
We do not ask you to give up a statutory right, and we do not treat a request as invalid merely because a subscription period has begun.
3. Subscriptions and renewals
Paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled.
Cancelling stops future renewals. It is not a mid-period termination: your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no refund of that period arises simply because you cancelled early.
Cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, which opens the billing portal of the payment provider used for your subscription. We recommend cancelling before the renewal date if you do not want the next period.
If a renewal was taken after you had already cancelled, or was taken twice, contact us — that is a billing error and is corrected.
4. Credits are returned, not refunded
Credits are units of Platform usage, not money. Returning credits to a balance and refunding money to a payment method are two different things, and this section covers only the first.
Where a generation fails on our side and no usable output is delivered, the credits taken for it are returned to the balance they came from.
Credits consumed by a generation that was successfully produced and delivered are not returned merely because you are dissatisfied with the aesthetic result — the service you requested was performed.
If a technical fault on our side caused a wider loss of credits, contact us with the details and we will investigate and correct it.
Returned credits are not converted into money and cannot be paid out.
5. Duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised charges
If you were charged twice for the same period, contact us. Duplicate charges are refunded.
If you were charged an amount that does not match the plan you selected, tell us and we will have it corrected.
If you believe a charge was made without your authorisation, report it as soon as possible — to us, or through the support link on the receipt — so that it can be investigated. Do not rely on a chargeback alone: a direct report is usually faster.
6. What happens to access after a refund
Where a refund of a subscription period is issued, the paid entitlement for that period ends and the account returns to the free plan.
Credits granted for a refunded period may be removed from the balance to the extent they have not been used.
Content you have already created remains yours, subject to the Terms of Use.
